United States men’s national team star Christian Pulisic is closing in on a move to Seria A side AC Milan. According to multiple reports, Pulisic agreed to personal terms of a long-term deal with the Italian club, and all that’s left is for Milan to negotiate a transfer fee with Chelsea.

It is believed that Chelsea wants at least €25 million to part with the American, while Milan wants to lower the price. Pulisic is reportedly excited about the opportunity to restart his career in Italy and is confident the two clubs will end up making the deal.

Pulisic was expected to leave Chelsea all along this summer after several underwhelming seasons with the London club that were marred with injuries. Juventus initially showed interest in bringing the 24-year-old to Italy but were stalling with making the final bid, which allowed Milan to swoop in.

Moving to Milan could help Pulisic to bounce back and find his form again. He should have more playing time as there will be a lot less competition up front compared to his time in the London club.

Christian Pulisic arrived at Chelsea in the summer of 2019 in a £58 million transfer from Borussia Dortmund. Since then, he has played 145 games with the club in all competitions, scoring 26 goals and adding 21 assists. Pulisic was part of the Chelsea team that won the UEFA Champions League in 2020–21.
