Wide receiver Stefon Diggs will be part of the Minnesota Vikings organization for the years to come. Vikings announced on Tuesday that they have agreed to a five-year contract extension with Diggs, which will keep him in Minnesota through the 2023 season.

Although the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, according to ESPN‘s Adam Schefter the extension is worth $81 million. The extension also includes around $40 million in guaranteed money.

“I love being here,” – said Diggs earlier this year. “I love playing with the Vikings. I started here, and I’ve been happy all my time here. I love my teammates, I love my staff. There’s no place I’d rather be than here.”

Stefon Diggs has an outstanding season behind him, catching 64 passes for 849 yards alongside eight touchdowns in 2017. He also had a great postseason, being on the receiving end of the play now known as “Minneapolis Miracle.” Digs had a 61-yard catch-and-run in the last seconds of the game against New Orleans Saints, giving the Vikings a 29-24 victory and a spot in the NFC Championship Game with this play.

Vikings selected Stefon Diggs 146th overall in the 2015 NFL Draft. He started his rookie season being listed inactive during the first three games, but after the team’s two leading receivers got injured, Diggs got a chance to start and never looked back receiving NFL All-Rookie team honors.

Diggs’ career stats in the NFL include 2,635 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns in 43 games played.
