While few might’ve expected the Golden State Warriors-Los Angeles Clippers series to go to six games, Golden State took care of business, even if it took a little longer than expected.

The Warriors beat the Clippers 129-110 on Friday night to win Game 6 and advance to the next round of the playoffs.

The underdog Clippers gave the Warriors a harder challenge than they expected. After winning Game 5 at Oracle Arena, Golden State had to hit the road again to play in LA for Game 6.

Despite resistance, Kevin Durant and the Warriors were simply too much for the Clippers to handle. Their talent won out in the end.

Durant had one of the greatest performance of his career on Friday night, scoring 50 points in the Warriors’ win. No matter what defense LA tried against the forward, nothing worked. The total was Durant’s career-high for points in a playoff game.

Steph Curry added 24 points of his own and dished out 6 assists in the win.

Golden State now advances to the Western Conference semi-finals two square off against the Houston Rockets. There, two pairs of superstars will battle it out as Durant and Curry face off against James Harden and Chris Paul.
