After missing out Warriors Thursday night loss to the Toronto Raptors, Draymond Green hopes for a return on Dec. 3 when his team faces the Atlanta Hawks.

“He feels like he’ll be able to play by the end of this road trip,” Coach Steve Kerr said about Green.

The Golden State’s road trip games end on Sunday with a trip to Detroit. However, the coach also clarified that Green’s situation is “a day-to-day” and the team will have the final say as to when he returns.

“He’s been very patient,” Kerr said. “I think he understands where we are. It’s still November. He tried to play through the toe injury a couple weeks back in LA, and that made it worse. So he recognizes that we need to get this thing better before he gets back on the floor.”

With Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Alfonzo McKinnie out, the Warriors have struggled to win points on the road. They lost 128-132 to the Raptors on Thursday despite Durant’s season-high 51 points. They barely won versus the Kings and Struggled against Thunder one week ago.

Fortunately, most of the injured players are on the verge of getting well. Curry will play in the game against the Pistons on Sunday and McKinnie hopes to return soon. If Draymond gets back, the Golden State will have better chances of renewing their title hopes this season.
