USMNT’s star midfielder Weston McKennie is once again being linked with a move to Premier League. According to Football Insider, McKennie, who previously drew interest from Tottenham Hotspur, is now being monitored by West Ham United.

Reportedly, West Ham is serious about bringing the American to East London and have already opened talks with Juventus. Seria A side is believed to be opened to moving McKennie, and more negotiations are set to take place soon.

West Ham is currently looking to find a replacement for Declan Rice, who is in line to make a big move sooner than later and has been courted by Manchester United and Chelsea in recent months.

Juve, on the other hand, wants to cash in on McKennie as he fell down the pecking order since manager Massimiliano Allegri returned to the club. The 23-year-old star made six appearances in all competitions this season but only started three games and played a full match just once.

Weston McKennie joined Juventus last summer from Bundesliga side Schalke 04. McKennie initially arrived on a one-year loan, but the Italian club moved swiftly to make the deal permanent for $24 million after the player impressed in his first six months in Turin.

McKennie has played 52 games for Juve so far and has contributed with six goals and three assists. He helped the club win Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana trophies in 2020-21.
