Giancarlo Stanton, the New York Yankees star slugger this season has played just three games. There is no news regarding his condition after the team put him on the 10 day Injured List on the 1st of April. The situation got an even more confusing twist when Bryan Hoch attempted to explain the status of Stanton’s injury on Tuesday. The Manager Aaron Boone said that Stanton had a shoulder issue but he did not reveal any details about the nature of the injury.

Firstly the Manager Boone said that ‘now’ Stanton was dealing with his shoulder injury. The official reason for being put on the Injured List was a bicep injury. When Hoch asked him for details the manager said that he doesn’t have the precise diagnosis but that there is some lingering shoulder stuff that Giancarlo was trying to get kicked out.

Even with the details about his injury remaining unknown Giancarlo Stanton is probably getting closer to returning to the games. Monday he took live at-bats and he will proceed to participate in defensive work. Getting him back in the team will be great news for Yankees.
