It appears that Chelsea’s forward Willian still hasn’t ruled out the possibility of staying with Premier League side past this season. In a chat with De Sola YouTube channel, the 31-year-old Brazilian said that he would immediately sign to stay on Stamford Bridge if the team offers him a three-year deal.

Willian will become a free agent this summer, with several high-profile European clubs interested in his services including Barcelona, Juventus, and Arsenal. Chelsea also wants to keep him, but their initial offer wasn’t good enough.

“I already had a conversation with the club a few months ago, even before the stop,” said Willian. “Chelsea only offer me two years and I asked for three. My goal in the next contract is to sign for three years. So I haven’t had a deal with Chelsea yet.”

Willian, however, has no doubts where he would want to play next season in an ideal scenario.

“This is what I asked the club for three years of the contract. If you give me that, I’ll get the pen and sign the contract tomorrow,” he added.

Willian arrived at Chelsea during the 2013/14 season and has since become one of the London club’s most important players. He helped the team win five trophies, including two Premier League titles, while making 338 appearances in all competitions and scoring 63 goals.

This season, Willian scored 11 goals and dished nine assists while leading the team to FA Cup finals and potential No.3 finish in Premier League.
