Wolves Score a Tough Victory Over Manchester City

This weekend the Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton hosted a really tense and interesting football match. Here the Wolves managed to defeat Manchester City in a thrilling match that ended with a final score of 3-2.  

The first half of the match was more passive even though Ederson Santana de Moraes earned a red card in the 12th minute. The only goal of the half-time was scored by City’s Raheem Sterling in the 25th minute, giving them the lead. 

The struggle started in the second half with Sterling breaking the ice for a second time, scoring a goal in the 50th minute. This was followed by the first goal for the hosts, which was scored by Adam Traore just five minutes after Sterling’s. Wolves managed to even the score in the 82nd minute with Raul Jimenez’s goal. Matt Doherty scored the final goal of the match in the 89th minute leading Wolves to the victory over City. This victory brought Wolves up to the 5th place on the board and left Manchester City on the third position.
