Even though her time at Eastbourne International was cut short, Williams had a chance to show us her signature intensity, and we’re excited to see what she has in store at Wimbledon.

“I have had some really good training leading up to Wimbledon and up to this tournament, and really hitting the ball well and just working out, and it’s been working. It’s just been connecting… I feel like I have been serving well so that’s been really good. Working really hard on that,” Williams told the reporters in Eastbourne.

Prior to the restart of the 2020 tennis season, there were plenty of doubts over whether or not tennis’s top stars would be able to compete in this year’s US Open due to the current pandemic.
