Former Pelican Anthony Davis led his team to yet another win over his former club, this time with 123-113. The Lakers won the opening quarter with 42-30, maintaining control over the result until the end. New Orleans fought back in the last quarter, winning it by 18-30 but it was too late to upset the Conference Leaders. 

Lebron James and Anthony Davis were the main Lakers strike duo for this match and once again they contributed the most. Davis finished with massive 46 points and 13 rebounds while James had 17 points with 15 assists in 37 minutes. Danny Green played his best match so far by scoring 25 points in 33 minutes.  

The two former Lakers players Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram scored the most points in the Pelicans roster, with Ball having 23 and Ingram 22. JJ Redick and Derrick Favors added 14 and 15 points, all too little for an upset in Los Angeles. The Lakers remain on top in the West while New Orleans are on the 14^th seed.

Bayern earned a hard-fought win away in Paderborn with 2-3. Serge Gnabry scored for Bayern in the 15th minute, with Philippe Coutinho providing the assist. The Bavarians maintained total control of the ball and had 18 shots towards Paderborn’s goal.

Liverpool had an easy night in Milton Kayens, winning by 0-2 on Stadium MK. Just like Unai Emery, Jurgen Klopp changed his starting 11, giving an opportunity to the young players on the roster. The race finished with a pretty unexpected victor – even though Hamilton and Verstappen were the favorites, Sebastian Vettel managed to raise the trophy for the 5^th time on the Marina Bay Street Circuit. He took advantage of the new Ferrari tactics to overtake his teammate, which Leclerc said was ‘unfair.’  

Vettel finished the race in first place with 1:58:33.667, Leclerc followed after him with +2.641s, and Verstappen driving for Red Bull finished third with +3.821s. The current champion Hamilton finished in fourth place with his teammate from Mercedes following in the fifth.  

32-year-old Sebastian Vettel had a pretty bad season which jeopardized his place in the Ferrari team. Up until this race, Vettel hadn’t won a race for 13 straight months since he won the Belgian GP in August 2018.  In addition, this was the first time Ferrari won the first and the second place in almost 2 years.

During the practice at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, Lewis Hamilton showed his superior skills once again after the Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc won the previous two races. Hamilton lead the race setting the pace, Verstappen followed with 0.184 seconds and the third best time was scored by Sebastian Vetter. The second Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas set the fourth best time with 1.121 seconds behind Hamilton, Alexander Albon from Red Bull came fifth and the winner of the previous GP Leclerc finished in the 6^th position.  

If things stay this way on race day, the main struggle will be between the young Verstappen and current champion Hamilton.  

Shortly before this race, the famous driver Robert Kubica announced that this would be his last season with team Williams. He joined the team this year after an eight-year-long following a crash in 2011.
